In recent years research has shown that adding weight to our body whilst exercising has many benefits, particularly for age related health problems. Increasing bone density, and therefore reducing the risk of osteoporosis is one of the major benefits of weight training. Along with this our clients have see an increase in muscle, tendon and ligament strength, as well as an improved sense of balance.
For our younger and fitter clients, free weights allow for a more challenging workout, with muscle growth, cardiovascular fitness, overall muscle toning and increased self esteem some of the many positive outcomes of this training.
