This Chinese martial art has its roots in practical self defence and health benefits. Developed sometime between the 16th and 17th centuries, Tai Chi has become a worldwide phenomenon, helping millions of people stay mobile and healthy.
People of all ages and ability are welcome, with benefits including increased agility, balance to help with falls prevention, increased neurological function and leg strength.
Our Tai Chi classes are held every Monday from 7.30 to 9.00pm at our Loftus Recreation Centre venue in Leederville and cost $25 per session.
Taught by James Strider, 20th Generation Chen Tai Chi disciple under Master Chen Zhonghua and a practitioner of 28+ years in Chen Style Tai Chi Chuan.
